Start a Chapter
Thank you for your interest in starting an APSE chapter! APSE currently has chapters and chapters in development in 36 states and the District of Columbia. APSE Chapters are advancing equitable employment for individuals with disabilities in their states through building partnerships, offering cutting edge training and conferences, raising awareness at the local and state level, affecting public policy through grassroots efforts and more!

Step 1 - Get the information
Call the APSE office at (804) 278-9187 for a startup packet which will include the following information:
- Checklist for Applying for Chapter in Development Status (Download)

- Joint Membership letter of agreement (Download)
- Current State Chapter contacts (Link)

- National Board Members (Link)
- APSE's Chapter Bylaws (Download)
- APSE membership application (Download)
Step 2 - Read carefully through the information
Read through the information received and call the national office at (804) 278-9187 with any questions.
