Stephanie Birmingham is the new Public Policy Associate with APSE.  She graduated from St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a minor in Peace and Justice in May 2009. Having personal experience with disability related issues as a wheelchair user herself, Stephanie is looking forward to working with APSE as an avenue for something she strongly believes in - providing equal opportunity for all persons.

APSE staff work with other advocacy organizations, Congress, Senate and the Administration to ensure that our national policies meet the goal of improving integrated employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities. Important issues such as the ADA, Rehabilitation Act, Social Security Ticket-to-Work, and others are overviewed to keep our readers up to date on the workings of Congress and the Federal agencies regarding employment for individuals with disabilities. APSE staff advocates ensuring that...Everyone Can Work!
