APSE Award Details

Andy McMahon of Lockeed Martin has made it a standard practice to employ individuals with disabilities.  His excellent supervisory skills and his understanding of the needs of an individual with a disability has helped keep the turn over rate at the Lockeed Distribution Center at less than 7% this past year.  Lockeed Martin has been nothing less than stellar for making job accommodations, such as adjustments to work schedules and office equipment for an employee.  Lockeed Martin has made it a common practice to offer competitive employment for individuals with disabilities.  This in turn, provides individuals with disabilities an opportunity to work and earn money to become independent.
